Inspired by voice acting legends like Mel Blanc and musicians like Tom Waits, I discovered the transformative power of voice early in life. Blanc’s ability to create distinct characters and Waits’ authentic, gravelly tone demonstrated that voices could build worlds and convey deep character, regardless of conventional beauty.

This appreciation evolved into a career spanning sports announcing, radio work, and preaching, where I learned to modulate my voice for different contexts. From developing the authoritative yet loving “dad voice” at home to addressing skeptical crowds of 500+ as a preacher, each role reinforced voice as my primary instrument for storytelling and human connection.
